Our Infrastructure Services team has worked closely with the college to develop a training centre and apprenticeship scheme that will deliver a fresh pipeline of skilled welders. The centre is the first of its kind in the country and will support the needs of the energy network by creating a workforce for the future. The students are learning key skills that will help the UK achieve its target of net zero carbon emissions by 2050.
