NEW EVENT! From Policy to Practice: Navigating NPPS and the New Social Value Act. The National Procurement Policy Statement (NPPS) and the new Social Value Act are set to transform public procurement, placing greater emphasis on legal compliance, contract governance, and social value delivery. But how will these changes play out in practice for public sector buyers, suppliers and commissioners? Join us for an interactive breakfast panel, bringing together procurement, legal and social value experts from Thrive - Social Impact Software, Wisebull Consultancy Services and Capital Law Ltd to discuss: • Stronger legal and contractual requirements—what’s really changing? • Procurement and commissioning challenges—will early engagement improve processes or create new hurdles? • Expanding social value obligations—how businesses and suppliers should respond. • Compliance expectations—what they mean for stretched procurement teams. Whether you're a procurement professional, business development lead or social value specialist, this session will provide the insights you need to stay ahead of policy shifts and compliance demands. 📅 Thursday 10 April 2025 🕚 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM 📍 The Parkgate Hotel, Westgate Street CF10 1DA 👥 Members & Non-Members of all genders welcome to attend 🎟️ Free for members.
