🎉 We’re pleased to share that Innovate UK has announced an additional £30 million in funding to extend its Innovation Accelerator programme through to 2026, further strengthening the UK’s position as a global leader in research and development. ♻️ As part of this extension, CEAMS will continue its vital work in #sustainable materials innovation, supporting UK businesses in commercialising sustainable materials and developing innovative solutions that promote #circularity and reduce environmental impact. 💬 “Our aim is to empower companies to create better, more efficient products that drive growth, increase employment, and improve competitiveness,” said Paul Ormerod, Chair of the Rochdale Development Agency, lead agency of CEAMS. Are you passionate about creating a sustainable textile industry? 👕♻️ Learn how Burgessy Rise collaborated with Centre of Expertise in Advanced Materials and Sustainability (CEAMS) to develop an innovative, eco-friendly adhesive that could help to reduce #textile waste in the garment industry. 👕 The textile industry struggles with excess waste, as garments must be produced in multiple sizes, but demand is not always met.
