About us
The Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation is a proven leader in the global fight to end HIV and AIDS, and an advocate for children to live full and healthy lives into adulthood. Founded over 30 years ago through a mother’s determination, EGPAF is committed to a comprehensive response to fighting HIV and AIDS through research, global advocacy, strengthening of local health care systems, and growing the capacity of governments and communities in the world’s most affected regions to respond to urgent needs. On the sidelines of this week's International Workshop on Adolescence, Sexual and Reproduction Health and Rights (SRHR) and HIV in Nairobi we met with leaders to answer an essential question: how do we combat the triple threat facing adolescent girls and young women? Addressing and preventing HIV, adolescent pregnancies, and gender-based violence is vital to achieving an AIDS-free generation. But more importantly, it is about helping young women thrive in adulthood and build the lives they want. Thank you to Africa REACH and AIDS Healthcare Foundation for supporting this roundtable.
