❓What do a gen AI pediatric care journey visualizer, a patient self check-in kiosk, and a mental health resources chatbot have in common? Each were showcased as part of EX3 Labs’ Tech Playground during #AIApril Healthcare Week! A BIG shout out to all of the participating organizations and attendees and a HUGE THANK YOU to Michael Baran, CIO of Access Community Health Network and Rebecca T. Feinstein, Director of the Health Equity & Innovative Technologies Program at the University of Illinois College of Medicine for the insightful discussion during last week’s panel: From Data to Diagnosis - Opportunities and Challenges with AI in Healthcare. We received a tremendous amount of positive feedback as participants left with ideas on how to harness AI to enhance and optimize healthcare within their own organizations.  #AIApril #ResponsibleAI #Healthcare #DigitalSuite

ICYMI, here’s a quick recap of last weeks’ #AIApril events focused on Financial Services. The series included Beyond the Hype Lunch-n-Learn: Elevating Customer Experiences through AI-Enabled Services, a FinTech AI Playground and a Panel Discussion: Navigating Risk & Building Resilience in an AI-Powered World. The Tech Playground showcased three AI-enabled FinTech projects from EX3 Labs. - Wealth Manager AI assists wealth managers by using large language models to provide a more holistic and personalized approach to servicing clients through a conversational interface. - Spend Intelligence provides consumers a friction-free way of finding out where they spend the most money through natural language querying. From “How much am I spending on subscriptions each month” to “what is my largest spend category”, users can use their voice to query their financial transaction history AND ask questions regarding how they can save money. - Precognition enables retirement planners to help their clients visualize retirement through Generative AI. The face aging and de-aging model combined with the user-friendly financial modeling tool helps people not only set retirement goals and adjust them based on their timeline, but also do it in a fun and visual way. #AIApril Financial Services week concluded with a thought-provoking discussion featuring financial services leaders Shaelyn Otikor-Miller of Northern Trust, Leslie J. Anderson-Rutland, CTP of BMO U.S. and Olga Castaneda of William Blair on the topic of Navigating Risk & Building Resilience in an AI-Powered World. A HUGE thank you to all panelists and participants. #AIApril will wrap up this week with a focus on “Achieving a Healthier Tomorrow: Harnessing AI to Enhance and Optimize Healthcare”. 📸 EX3 Labs Project Profile - Helping Englewood Envision the Future Through Generative A.I. & Augmented Reality The Greater Englewood Chamber of Commerce held an event for developers, patrons, residents and local leaders to unveil the winners of a community-driven design contest titled “69th Reimagined”. Harnessing the power of generative A.I., participants reimagined the vacant lots on 69th Street in Chicago's Englewood community, through a simple narrative description. That text was turned in to a prompt that powered a Generative A.I. image. Each image was voted on and three winners were chosen. Seeing is Believing - Envisioning the Future Through Augmented Reality With the help of EX3 Labs, the images were turned into 3D models that attendees could experience through a web-based augmented reality app. When users hovered their phones over a vacant lot on 69th street, the life-sized model would appear. [tap the video to learn more] "When I reimagine 69th Street, I see possibilities... I see opportunities... I see hope. I think a lot of folks can drive down the street and see everything from vacant lots to boarded up buildings but to me, those are all opportunities for us to build a better future for not just today's dreamer, but for tomorrow's dreamers as well." - Jason Edgecombe Jr , EX3 Labs A BIG shout-out to Felicia Slaton Young, MBA , Jordan Bester and the entire Greater Englewood Chamber of Commerce team, Steven E. Shaw, Jason Edgecombe Jr, Elsi Ramos, Karina Argüello, Adam Wisniewski and Tony Silva for their tremendous work on the project.
