"Practice what you preach." Our internal team has had a great two days of Crucial Conversations training led by none other than our own HR Strategist, Lisa Borre, MBA, SHRM-SCP. A question we are often asked is "How do you create culture?". Well, one way to do that from the top down is to prioritize the ongoing education of yourself and your team. In this instance, the KRT team spent two days learning how to better manage conflict and hold difficult conversations in ways that create positive outcomes personally and professionally. Thanks to Crucial Learning and Starbucks for the content and coffee. ;)

Our team is thrilled to be growing to better serve our clients and we couldn't have found two better people to join us! Lillian Shepard joins us as our new HR assistant. Lilly has a B.A. in Human Capital and Society from Michigan State University and just might be nicest person you've ever met. Well, 10/10 dogs think so and she'd love to pet them. Jackson Yaggi joins us as our new Finance assistant. Jackson has an Accounting degree from Xavier University as well as an extensive baseball card collection. With his accounting mind and affinity for sports, you'd be right to assume that Moneyball is his favorite movie that he wishes he'd lived in. People-centric private capital is our thing and we've just brought on two really good ones. Onward and upward!
