  • What an historic day! In honor of Women's History Month, Ladies of Virtue was invited to City Hall this morning to be recognized for our work in the community. Two more Alderpersons stood up as well. "Ladies of Virtue is doing incredible work in my ward. They are mentoring young ladies providing them with career opportunities and service learning projects. I wanted to speak up about their great work" - Alderwoman Dowell "I would like to share that my niece was in Ladies of Virtue’s mentoring program and she has grown into a fine young woman. Also, I want to recognize Debra Earl who is apart of this amazing organization." - Alderman Moore Wow!!!!!! Thank you Alderwoman Michelle Harris for inviting us to City Council. • When we say LOV 4 Life we mean it! We are always seeking to expose our alum to events that will open doors to their future. Today, two of our LOV 4 Life Alumni, Treazure and Antoinette, participated in an entrepreneurship event featuring Mark Cuban!! They were joined by Kenya Mercer, our Senior Program Manager. “I learned that it requires a lot of Grit and Determination to become an Entrepreneur and that it won’t be easy. People who have been denied and told NO on @sharktankabc have still circled back around and built their company.” - Antoinette “I learned that I need Better articulation of my Replacement Value or differenciating factors. I want to be more precise with data to back it up.” - Treazure Antoinette is an incoming Intern at L’Oréal. She is interested in starting her own business in the tech space. She desires to create an app that would be centered around engaging BIPOC in a safe environment. Antoinette Raggs Treazure is the CEO of Treazure LLC. She runs her full service digital and experiential marketing agency committed to providing comprehensive marketing, social and human capital solutions with a focus on value, content and community to veteran-friendly and veteran-owned brands. Treazure O. Huge thank you to the Obama Foundation and Girls Opportunity Alliance for hosting this phenomenal event!

  • ✨MLK Day Repack Session: Spreading Warmth and Joy!✨ We are incredibly proud of our team members and LOV sisters who braved the bitter cold to volunteer at the Greater Chicago Food Depository during the MLK Day Repack Session! 🌬️❄️ At Ladies of Virtue, we hold community service close to our hearts. We believe in the power of selflessness and giving back to support underserved communities. It's a vital characteristic that fuels our mission of making a positive impact in the world. In true LOV spirit, our team members and sisters didn't just contribute their time and efforts, but they also managed to make the experience fun and joyful! Because, let's be honest, spreading warmth, smiles, and laughter is just as important as the physical help we provide. We want to express our deepest gratitude to everyone who participated in the MLK Day Repack Session. Your dedication and commitment to helping others exemplify the spirit of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., and we know he would be proud of the positive change you're creating in our community. Let's continue to be the shining beacons of compassion and service, inspiring others to follow in our footsteps. Together, we can make a lasting impact and create a better world for all. 🩷🩵

  • Ladies of Virtue’s mentoring and leadership program provides culturally-relevant programming so our girls become confident and purpose-driven leaders.  Our participants are exposed to prominent women from a wide variety of industries who share similar backgrounds as our girls.  In addition, our sisters interact with mentors who take a hands-on, never give up approach, with the goal of building long-lasting relationships. #LOV #Ladiesofvirtue
