  • Welcome to the family! We are incredibly excited to announce we have partnered with Sky to takeover management of a impact investment portfolio previously incubated by Sky and formerly known as ‘Sky Ocean Ventures’. 🏆 We’ve long admired this groundbreaking portfolio as an early exemplification of our circularity-driven thesis and have already co-invested in UK champions Greyparrot and Matter. 📍 This is a big step for us to expand our European presence, and we are humbled to be able to support this exceptional cohort of founders and companies already delivering top venture performance. 👀 Across our three fund portfolios, Regeneration now counts nearly forty companies driving meaningful environmental and economic outcomes within consumer industries. Check out the portfolio to see the latest additions!

  • 🗽 Fresh from our New York team, today we are launching a summer internship program focused on impact investing and planetary boundaries with our partner Sustainable Investing Research Initiative (SIRI) at Columbia University. The program connects top graduate talent from Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs (SIPA) and other graduate programs with leading VC investors and their portfolio companies. 📌 Register by February 15, 2025 🔹If your firm is interested in participating, use this form: https://lnkd.in/g-3WCjQJ 🔹If you are a Columbia University student, use this form: https://lnkd.in/gvjQX56Y “We have been working with Greta and the Regeneration team for more than a year now, and they have been a very special partner to SIRI. We are super excited to launch with them this first-ever Regenerative Systems VC Internship Program here at SIPA and Columbia. In today’s world, it is essential to educate and inspire the next generation of entrepreneurs and investors to work towards planetary and human health. This impact VC summer internship program aims to do exactly that. We very much look forward to continue expanding our partnership with Regeneration.VC in the future.” Caroline Flammer Ph.D. | Founding Director of SIRI, A. Barton Hepburn Professor of Economics, and Columbia SIPA’s Vice Dean for Research and Faculty Affairs "When I learned about the Sustainable Investing Research Initiative at SIPA, I had to connect with Professor Caroline— and this is how everything started. Their work on system-level investing pushing for a deeper understanding of complex systems is critical in our work as venture investors, and so is bridging academia with real-world change. I am pleased to create this opportunity for students who want to work for something that gives back more than what you put in. Excited for everything else to come with Caroline at SIRI and my broader engagement with Columbia.” Greta Bertozzini | Regeneration.VC Associate

  • CES 2025 News! 💡 New product launch from our portfolio company Ambient Photonics Lenovo launched a Self-Charging Bluetooth Keyboard with Ambient Photonics groundbreaking tech that allows it to charge through indoor ambient light instead of using disposable batteries. This product won Lenovo a spot on the How-To-Geek's Best of CES 2025 Keyboard award. Partnership after partnership, Ambient advanced photovoltaic cells are demonstrating that light technology, when harvested effectively, works and is definitely more convenient to consumers than changing batteries. The keyboard will launch this Spring 2025. #CES2025

  • NVIDIA stole the show on the first day of CES in Las Vegas! Our portfolio company Greyparrot is part of the NVIDIA inception program and was recently featured in their technical blog. The blog describes how NVIDIA powers the Greyparrot Analyser to identify around 90 types of waste materials on conveyor belts in under 60 milliseconds. This cutting-edge accuracy is made possible by machine learning object detection models trained on tens of millions of waste images for real-time analytics. Greyparrot’s vice president of engineering James Paterson describes: "In a large facility with many machines, it can take hours to notice a jam—and that’s money literally going down the drain and into landfills. We’re helping facilities improve throughput and quality, enabling them to process more waste while producing higher-purity products.” #Regeneration #Wastemanagement #AI
