More than a building, a hospital is peace of mind for the community it serves—and now, Celina has its first stand-alone, full-service hospital, bringing life-saving care closer to home. Designed to serve patients today and for decades to come, the 192,215 SF, 4-story hospital provides emergency care, advanced surgical capabilities—including trauma, ortho/neuro, and robotic surgery—labor and delivery, ICU, imaging, and more. The upper floors house ICU, Med-Surg, and Labor & Delivery, with room to grow as demand increases. A helipad ensures rapid response for critical cases, and the hospital is designed with plenty of room to expand alongside the city, with horizontal expansion planned to accommodate future bed towers. Next door, the 39,700 SF physicians’ office building brings specialty care within reach, offering a seamless connection between hospital and outpatient services. With high-end finishes, a 2-bank elevator system, and space for future growth, it’s designed for both comfort and convenience. With this project, Methodist Health System expands its reach to this fast-growing community, ensuring that more people in north DFW have access to the care they need, when they need it most. This campus recently celebrated its grand opening, and we’re excited to share the video of that event with you later this week! Thanks to Methodist Health System and client team members John Sollenberger, Tom Noble, and Cody Hunter, FACHE (with Methodist); Mark Roan, Kelsie Whittington, AIA, Kat Middlebrook and Julian D. Debo (with Perkins&Will); Richard Zinser and Bethany Waterman (with Stantec); Collin Upham and Jason Jullie (with WSP); Jamie Ploetzner, P.E. and Caitlin Flaherty (with Kimley-Horn); Michael Kendall (with KENDALL LANDSCAPE ARCHITECTURE); Dwane Bosma (with Bosma Design Solutions, Inc. ); and our dedicated trade partners (named in the comments) for their contributions to bring this facility to the community. Congratulations and THANK YOU to our team—Desmond Adger, Ross Brindle, Justin Davis CHC, STS-C, David Ellison III, Jonathan F. Fellers, Zach Fleig, Erik Flores, Thomas Hardy, Seth Harrison, Trace Houston, Jose Martinez, Andrew Middleton, CSHO, Jake Pechauer, Ryan Pence, Mitch Rawls, Erick Rios, Miles Robinson, Jordan Rodriguez, Felipe Serrano, CHC, DBIA, David Veliz, Jose Vidal, and Nathan Wilke, CM-Lean—for their tireless work, innovation, and dedication to the successful completion of this pivotal project. #WeAreSkilesGroup #ABetterWayToBuild #BuildTexasProud #Celina

It’s not every day that GCs get to build something for themselves! We recently renovated our office to better support our growing firm. The updated space features modern finishes, pops of color, and tech-forward, flexible workspaces that offer something for everyone—from small group huddles to larger team meetings. Our walls showcase our values, highlight the essential facilities our clients bring to their communities, and celebrate the personal motivations that drive our team. Every detail was designed to make our space practical, welcoming, and reflective of who we are, why we’re here, and how we work. Thank you to ENTOS Design and our incredible trade partners (listed in the comments below) for helping bring our vision to life. #WeAreSkilesGroup #ABetterWayToBuild #BuildTexasProud

That’s a wrap on Women in Construction Week! We closed it out with one of our favorite traditions: a luncheon especially for the incredible women who help build our success every day. This year’s gathering had extra meaning, as we wore our PPE in honor of Buddy Brumley, who made sure these events happened year after year. Buddy believed in celebrating our team and making sure everyone felt seen; we’re proud to continue this tradition in his memory. Joining us for lunch were Jyl V. Venner, Lillian Puente, Ana Melecio Patino, Shelby McEntire, SHRM-CP, PHR, Michelle Davis, Kari Westrup, Dara Davulcu, Kamie Harrison, CRIS, Jean Robinson, and Rebecca Smolik — and we missed Katayoun Mokhtarzadeh and Becky Blank, who couldn’t make it this time. WIC Week recognizes the impact women have on our industry, spotlighting the many career paths available, and celebrating the leadership, creativity, and expertise women bring to the table. This year’s theme, Together We Rise, couldn’t be more fitting, because when we lift each other up, the whole industry gets stronger. #WeAreSkilesGroup #WICWeek2025 #WICWeek #WomenInConstruction #NAWIC #TogetherWeRise

Women in Construction Week provides a perfect opportunity to shine a light on the incredible women who help shape our projects, our teams, and our entire industry. We asked some of our own team members — plus a few amazing clients and partners — to share why they love construction and what makes their work exciting and fulfilling. Huge thanks to Katayoun Mokhtarzadeh and Kari Westrup from Skiles Group, Mande Mees with Children's Health, Lisa Kincaid, AIA with Page, and Saumya Thakur with ADAMS Management Services Corporation for sharing your insights and passion with us! #WeAreSkilesGroup #WICWeek2025 #WICWeek #WomenInConstruction #NAWIC #TogetherWeRise
