A statement from President Gold on the passing of Jack Hoffman:
I was heartbroken to learn of the passing of Jack Hoffman, an incredible young man who had a huge impact over the course of his 19 years. Jack was a beloved member of the University of Nebraska family, and a role model for so many, in Nebraska and far beyond. I would like to extend my deepest sympathies to the entire Hoffman family, especially his mother, Bri. His passing serves to reinforce the critical importance of cancer research and the enduring mission of Team Jack.
