She gives our new hires an amazing welcome." - Lauren "Mandy came in from 10:00 PM to 1:00 AM to complete necessary DOT testing for a night-shift employee at a local organization. • Join us in congratulating Melissa Troyer, ICU nurse, for being named our most recent DAISY Award Winner. The DAISY Award is an international recognition program that honors and celebrates the skillful and compassionate care nurses provide every day. Melissa was nominated by Michael, a patient who was admitted to the intensive care unit in January, after a VFib incident brought him to the emergency department. According to his wife, Melissa rarely left his room and was there when he awoke the next day, making sure all was well. In his nomination form, Michael said he felt very blessed to have Melissa leading his care and treatment. We want to thank Melissa for providing safe, quality, and compassionate care. It's people like her who make WRMC a place people in our community can trust. For more information or to nominate a nurse who provided you great care, visit https://lnkd.in/gb9-p-in. #DAISYAward #ThatsWhyWereHere #watertownwi

  • Our commitment to the Watertown area doesn't end within the walls of the hospital or clinics. Last year, we paid approximately $5.5 million in property, provider, payroll, state, and local taxes. These funds are used by local, state, and federal governments to fund schools, roads, public services, and other public programs. This is part of our nearly $17 million impact on the community.
