For more than 20 years, Accenture has worked to champion LGBTIQ+ inclusion. We still have a long way to go to achieve equality for all—and here’s how we’re working to stay on the right path: https://accntu.re/3XaV7bA #PrideMeansMore [Video Description: Against a white background, text appears over the Accenture “Greater Than” logo in LGBTIQ+ Pride flag colors (red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple, black, brown, light blue, pink, and white). The triangle flashes in various colors, shifts around, and show text highlighting Pride milestones.]

🌈 What's the first thing you think of when I mention "Pride" or "Pride Month"? By speaking and interacting with my LGBT+ colleagues at Capgemini, I've realized that there's so much more to Pride than just rainbow flags and Pride parades. 💖 For some, Pride is about being able to live their truth every day without fear – in both, their daily lives as well as at the workplace. 💖 For others, it might be more of an internal personal journey from self-awareness or self-discovery to self-acceptance. 💖 There are also those who wish to live their authentic lives but they see no need to announce it to others. Pride Month is about understanding that all these expressions of queerness are valid, and that there is progress to be found and achieved in each of them. This year, Capgemini is kickstarting its Pride celebrations in the month of May – because why not? Celebrating queerness or allyship to the LGBT+ community cannot (and should not) be restricted to just one month in the entire year. Follow Capgemini to understand how they support LGBT+ inclusion, ensuring every colleague feels comfortable in bringing their authentic selves to the workplace. https://lnkd.in/dg5ZkYqA #Pride2024 #PrideMonth #InclusiveFutures #LifeAtCapgemini

At Capgemini, Pride Month isn't just some dates on the calendar; it's a whole vibe where everyone is welcome, irrespective of who you are and how you identify. We'll put the rainbow flags on our profiles to show allyship, sure, but let's do more than that and really show our LGBTQ+ friends that we've got their backs. We have rolled out gender transition guidelines in India and Italy, complementing our Diversity & Inclusion policy, so our people get the support they need. Plus, our Confidential Contacts, an informal group of peers, are here to lend an ear whenever our LGBTQ+ colleagues need a chat. And are you planning some international business trips? Our LGBT+ Travel Resources have got you covered! Big wave out to OUTfront, our awesome global employee network group, for getting us some serious accolades: Gold Top Global Employer by Stonewall and nods from the Human Rights Campaign in the USA, Mexico, and Brazil. Come celebrate Pride with us at Capgemini! Let's keep building that inclusive vibe where everyone feels free to be themselves. Lets be an Ally! If you don't like what I'm about to say, please unfollow me or just stick pins in a doll with a ginger beard. This survey is the antidote to the ludicrous backlash against ESG and 'woke capitalism'. Firstly, LGBTQ+ inclusion is the right thing to do: we shouldn't have to even think about it. But, if you need convincing further and require everything to be about the bottom line, the survey makes it crystal clear - LGBTQ+ inclusion is also good for profitability, reputation and visibility. Great work by Open For Business and CEO Dominic Arnell to patiently state the obvious in such a compelling way. Massive kudos to sponsor Deutsche Bank and its Head of Corporate Bank and Investment Bank Fabrizio Campelli. Great comments from Fabrizio and from EY's Global VC Sustainability Amy Brachio. And more kudos to the 35 big companies partnering with them and adding serious heft. If they are all wrong about LGBTQ+ inclusion, then I quit. I want to see your “proof points” on how you’re backing up your “yay rainbows!” post, if you’re going to make a corporate pride statement. Hell yes. Accenture does it right. A fine example. Bonus points: making sure you have “out” members of your leadership teams. And that they aren’t trailing their peers in promotions or engagement scores. If you’re wondering how your LBGTQAI+ employees are doing (or sensing it’s not all rainbows lol), message me for a free checklist on what you can do. Xoxox, Femily
This month we celebrate the LGBTIQ+ community and reaffirm our belief that people with diverse perspectives and lived experiences are the drivers of innovation. Thank you to everyone at Accenture for all you do to advance equality and help foster an inclusive culture where every person feels respected and empowered to do their best—together, we are making a difference for all. Happy Pride! https://lnkd.in/eP4ugSVM
