Servant leader focused on bringing the most value, building the best teams, and forging the greatest character | Managing Director at ATX Acquisitions / CEO at ResProp / Partner at Rex.
Major props to one of the giants of ResProp Management, Angela Aguilar, celebrating her five-year anniversary with our team! 👉 Angela is a standout leader in so many ways. Most importantly, she’s a servant leader – she’s always hyper-attentive to the needs of the teams she leads, and digs in to help them get the work done – never afraid to dive deep and help push things forward. 💥But Angela is also a fierce competitor. Think about the affect Michael Jordan had on anyone who played on the same court–he elevated everyone’s game. On Michael’s court, you can't just show up and play–you come and give it your ALL. 👉 Same with Angela – when she commits to anything, it instantly motivates the team and suddenly they find a new gear to complete something that was previously unreachable. It’s a pleasure to work with you Angela – it’s been great fun (with a huge dose of HARD WORK) to build out ResProp with you. Last word here – Angela’s work ethic is unmatched. You literally have to peel her away from her work. This passion is infectious and again, is something that motivates everyone around her. Can’t wait to see what the next 5 years bring us–and while we’re at it, let’s make it 50 more! #workanniversary #leader #FAWOMO

Clients come in a variety of niche areas! Not all of them are nominated for Emmy’s and Golden Globe’s though. Exceptionally grateful for Ross Kimball and our work together! I feel like I have learned and implemented more from him than he probably has from me. This relationship is the epitome of a win-win!

Some context to go with the image below from National Automobile Dealers Association (NADA) !
Not often do I get goose pimples at an Award Ceremony, especially overseas, but today I did. The ceremony for Time Dealer of the Year, showcased so many exceptional dealers. Not their day to day performance, which is a given to make the final short list, but what they do for their communities, their staff, their customers and the industry. To hear the receiving speech from Rita Case, was inspiring. I literally had goose pimples. What a woman, what an industry, what an inspiration to grow with our industry staff and people. Never has supporting and training our people been so clear as to what positive results can be achieved.

Neurodiversity Champion | Working with Business Owners, Leaders & HR | We reduce costs, create productive, well & happy staff. Neurodiversity Expert | Consultant | Coach | Mentor | Trainer | ➡️ Prices from £120 📩 DM me
It’s incredible how a simple practice of acknowledging three things we’re grateful for can transform our mindset 💭 Whether simply thinking about 3 things we are grateful for, or jotting them down, the impact is profound. We all prefer different methods—I adore my gratitude jar! This also works well for teams - at the start of a training session, I always ask “what are you grateful for” it’s amazing what comes up and how the mood of the room changes 💖 What’s your go-to gratitude practice? #gratitudepost #gratitude #gratitudejournal #mindset #leadershipcoach #neurodiversity
And we're always the first in line to express gratitude for Brené Brown.

Brand and Marketing Strategist | Brand Builder | I help companies accelerate revenue growth connecting customers to shared brand values from the inside out.
Ask any sales or marketing professional… Launching new products and building new territories is not easy. Over a year ago my husband, Dean Peaple , joined this company to launch a new division of window coverings. Through operations and production challenges, changes in leadership and the minimal marketing support common with ‘startups’ - my husband never gave up! I have watched him be tenacious and creative, using common sense, guerilla tactics, and teamwork- always finding a way. I know the road is long, - and I admire my husbands patience and perseverance. When you work hard and see a reward with a Win like this- you have to celebrate! Most of us are so busy doing the work we do- we forget to take time to celebrate the wins. It’s as easy as 123… 1. Take a moment to reflect on your wins 2. Be proud of your accomplishments, 3. Share your gratitude with those that helped you achieve your goals. Celebrate the Wins!
And the 2024 People's Choice Award for Product(s) I Would Like in My Home goes to Rowley Company! Congrats!

I recently made a mistake when celebrating a great month in our company. We blew away our goal and I wanted to recognize our team. Instead of just congratulating our team for their great accomplishment, I threw in the dreaded "but" at the end of it. "but, next month will most likely be much different." There was no need for me to do this. I intended to shield them from a possible letdown the following month since we always have a strong January. The "but" was not necessary at that time (and probably not at all). Celebrate your wins. Recognize the success of your team - the other stuff can wait. A well-informed team already knows of the challenges that may lie ahead and is prepared to handle them. Let celebrating your wins stand on its own. Do not dilute what your team accomplished. Interestingly, February came and they beat our target for that month as well.....and did it again in March.

The right words make all the difference | Author of “Leaders Light the Path” | Podcast “Irresistible Communication”
It’s a family tradition for us to say thanks to our children at the end of each school year, not for the marks they brought home but for the effort they put in … … most importantly for embracing the opportunity to learn and have fun with it. I think that’s a good habit in business, too, especially for ambitious teams. When we’re constantly busy cracking the next challenge, it can be hard to hit pause for a moment and celebrate how far we’ve already come. It’s easy to take the effort for granted. But taking a moment once in a while to appreciate the effort and say thanks to the team should be just as easy. What traditions do you have to celebrate efforts? In your family or in business? __ I help people find the right words. If you’re looking for words

Well, here we are. It has been quite a ride, many ups and downs, but way more good times than bad. I need to thank all of my sales managers, sales directors, general managers, regional and country directors, at the last count around 8,6,9,7 and 5 respectively, for their constant help and support. The countless members of the service and production teams for putting up with me and not moaning too much whenever I dropped the ball. All of my sales colleagues past and present, way too many to mention, for their encouragement, advice, piss taking and support, this job would have been impossible without you. Being now 60 years old, I feel this job is no longer for me, however if I were just 10 years younger, Elis would be the very best company for me to work for. The 35 year old me would be buzzing, the service we offer today is far far better than it ever was and what I believe is planned for the future will keep us at least 12 months ahead of any competition, like it has always been. To the members of the service team who may not agree 100% with that last comment, remember how many customers your plant services and how many customers actually complain in any given month. It is such a small percentage, far more customers are happy with us, they just don't have the time to call you to tell you so. When I joined Sunlight there were big walls between the departments, sales never talked to service, production never talked to sales and transport never talked to anyone. Over the years we have knocked those walls down and we are so much better for it. My advice to everyone is for you all to keep talking. Especially my newer sales colleagues, your service team colleagues are a goldmine of information, so make them your best friends. A box of biscuits at Christmas or a round of ice lollies in the summer go a long way. With that I'll say goodbye. We are off travelling. See you later.
** Congratualtions Simon Ossitt ** After 24 hugely successful years at Elis Simon is retiring. We had a great night last night not only celebrating the success of the team in Q2 but also the success that Simon Ossitt is. Its very rare now especially in sales that someone reaches a 24 year career in one company but with Simon it is no surprise, speaking with various people around the business the same words to describe Simon always come up, dapper, committed, knowledgeable, gentleman, honest, successful. Simon it has been a pleasure, you have been an example to your peers at Elis in an outstanding career and you will be missed. Enjoy the free time and all that single malt whisky 😜 👏👏 #elis #salesexcellence #team
