After starting his career in consulting in the private sector, Thomas joined the UN and later the EU, where he has worked in different positions and locations. Back in Brussels in 2015, his latest appointments were in the Secretariat General of the European Commission (2015-2018) and in DG SANTE (2019-2023), where he was Assistant to the Director General.
