Setting the scale for transformative care and therapy options, the newly constructed Austin State Hospital will soon open its doors for operation — nearly six years after the initial master plan was commissioned in 2018. We were delighted to attend the ribbon-cutting alongside so many who brought this project to fruition. Providing the community and surrounding counties with 21st-century brain health care, the facility’s person-centered design evolved in a collaborative approach between Dell Medical School at The University of Texas at Austin and the Texas Health and Human Services Commission. We’re honored to be part of the team helping Texans who struggle with brain and mental health issues.
