Today, we announced plans to build and co-own a state-of-the-art reverse osmosis (RO) plant in Cabo San Lucas. In partnership with 529 Capital, the RO plant will desalinate water collected from our proprietary slant wells, providing clean drinking water to a select few resorts, while also donating up to 500,000 gallons per day to the local community. “This RO plant is more than just a solution for the resorts – it’s a transformative project that benefits the entire community, improving supply and making water available for the ones that need it. How our cleaners deliver high standards, save water and change lives using i-mops 💧 At Nviro, we’re always looking for innovative cleaning solutions that help our cleaners deliver high standards to our clients sites while making a difference to the environment and communities. Did you know that 703 million people (almost one in 10) don’t have clean water close to home? We’ve teamed up with i-team Global and Made Blue Foundation, using i-mops across our sites to reduce the amount of water we use while donating clean water to developing countries. Compared to a traditional mop and bucket, which uses 40 litres a day, an i-mop uses just 18 litres. For every litre we use, the same amount is donated to build water wells in third world countries. Solar-powered wells help provide water for Buffalo on remote Native American ranches. Some of our Buffalo caretakers live on ranches where accessible water sources are deep underground or miles away. For some, the only solution is a well pump system that runs on solar power. Quality systems can range from $3,000 to more than $10,000 each. The Buffalo need fresh water, and solar-powered wells can provide that without miles of electric lines. No donation is too small! As we continue our work in the Bahamas and in other areas impacted by crisis- we are looking to restore mangroves. How do they connect to our work increasing food security- well- mangroves are amazing:) without them so many species of marine life struggle to find safe spawning habitats. (Let alone the fact that they are carbon sequestering powerhouses and help build land mass).
