Our innovative approach to this event was a testament to our unwavering commitment to environmental sustainability, As reflected in our current Strategic plan. By going paperless, we took a significant step towards recognizing & acting upon the vital role a sustainable environment plays in our lives & work. Every Non Profit or Organization in general can play their part in helping to green the future, By implementing the 10 strategies highlighted in the carousel below. Happy Earth Day! 🌍 Today I had some thoughtful and inspiring conversations with a couple of amazing leaders at BOSENCE FARM COMMUNITY LIMITED, Kate Prosser and Samantha Collins . This has led me, yet again, to draw upon the meaningful parallel between Earth Day's spirit of ecological awareness and our approaches to systemic team coaching, systemic leadership coaching and community support. Before I continue though I'd invite you to look further into the work of Bosence Farm and what they are doing, just amazing! So just as Earth Day urges us to consider our planet in every action we take, systemic coaching encourages teams to broaden their perspectives, not just to enhance performance but to weave ecological and sustainable thinking into the fabric of their daily work. This approach doesn't merely push for incremental changes; it fosters a transformative shift in how teams perceive their roles within and beyond the corporate sphere. By embedding ecological consciousness into our leadership styles, we nurture an environment where teams feel empowered to explore innovative solutions that benefit their communities, the planet and of course themselves. So to continue to elevate our impact let's asking ourselves and our teams this: What specific sustainability practices could we integrate into our daily workflows to make our team's impact on the environment more positive? Rajeev shared the inspiration behind his commitment to sustainability and leadership, and explained the motivations behind his book, Sustainable Sustainability. He also addressed why existing ESG frameworks often result in greenwashing and superficial compliance, arguing that an upgrade to ESL—Steward Leadership—is crucial.
