So what did we get up to at our final After Hours event before the summer break? 👇 This time, the Valley explored innovations in primary food production as we were welcomed by our co-hosts, Valley partners Agroscope and the Etat de Fribourg - Staat Freiburg, at Grangeneuve, Fribourg's inspiring agricultural centre of excellence. 🔍 In the distance, we could see the construction site that will become Agroscope's new research campus in 2026. Fabian Wahl gave us a sneak peek of what's in store and shared their plans for a living lab canteen focused on behavioural science. 💡 Pascal Toffel took us on a fascinating journey through the food pyramid 🏛 Jerry Krattiger presented the Canton's key initiatives and focus on FoodTech and explained the interplay with federal, cantonal and municipal policies. Half of the group then took a tour of the centre's high tech experimental milking cow farm, while other colleagues took a deep dive into the technology on site.
