Yesterday was a stimulating day dedicated to orchestrating the expansion of the HITLAB Breakthrough Alliance Europe, aimed at propelling the growth of European digital health startups in the US and vice versa. Commencing with the outline of our ambitious 2024 strategy and transitioning into enriching dialogues with field experts from both sides of the Atlantic, the boundless prospects within the digital health domain became apparent. Today, in the third module of our life science scaleup program #10xHealth, our expert Anna Brattström from Lund University School of Economics and Management guided our 10xHealth companies through frameworks and tools relating to organising people, processes and organisational structures that are foundational for growth, managing the tension between explorative and exploitative phases of a company’s journey, as well as the shift from a focus on science to a focus on business.   📈 The #10xHealth program is targeted towards life science companies with the ambition to grow and scale. Karius has secured $100m in Series C funding, with the investment round co-led by Khosla Ventures, 5AM Ventures, and Gilde Healthcare, and joined by new investor Seventure Partners and existing investor SoftBank Investment Advisers, General Catalyst, HBM Healthcare Investments, Blue Water Life Sciences, Innovation Endeavors, Waycross Partners, and others.
