The U.S. Department of Education has launched an exciting new recognition program aimed at celebrating institutions that set a high bar for supporting students to complete affordable, high-value credentials that prepare them for the workforce, their communities, and civic life. For the inaugural year, 200 institutions—100 bachelor’s-granting and 100 associate or certificate-granting—are eligible to apply. Applications will highlight how data and evidence-based practices drive campus-wide strategies to ensure ALL students, including underrepresented groups, earn credentials of value.
