Doug Baldwin Jr, founder of Vault89, and Queniya Lassiter, Vault 89’s Director of HR Services & Entrepreneurship, introduced Regional Administrator Beto Yarce to “PREP”, an innovative training program for returning citizens. Pioneer’s Reentry Entrepreneurship Program is a partnership between Pioneer Human Services and Vault 89 that is focused on empowering formerly incarcerated individuals with the necessary skills and mindset to become successful entrepreneurs. This eight-week transformative journey kicked-off Monday and will help participants explore entrepreneurship fundamentals, develop viable business ideas and prepare for the launch and growth of their ventures. The SBA recently lifted restrictions on loans for returning citizens so this partnership could be life-changing for many individuals and families. Beto was incredibly inspired by the individuals and program. He shared some SBA information with more to come in the future. We look forward to this collaboration!
