With over 10 years of clinical experience providing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, I have helped countless clients overcome challenges related to depression, anxiety, autism, ADHD, stress management and emotion regulation. My training includes a level 2 certification in RO-DBT (Radically Open Dialectical Behavioral Therapy), an innovative form of DBT that focuses on building client’s self-compassion and emotional connections with others.

Michele Maas is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor licensed by the Ohio Counselor, Social Worker, Marriage and Family Therapist Board. She has a Bachelor's of Art in Psychology and a Master's of Art in Counseling and Human Development, both from Walsh University. Michele has been a clinical counselor for over 25 years, helping clients move toward the best version of themselves.

I am a behaviorist at heart but that does not mean that my compassion, my irreverent style, or my humor are lost in my sessions. My goal is to join with my clients and pair an evidence based treatment with empathy and compassion for the most successful outcomes. I work with adolescents and adults specializing in feeding and food issues, anxiety disorders, mood disorders, and parent coaching.

In my work as a clinician, I utilize a creative and strengths based approach in helping clients identify their own path towards a whole versus fragmented sense of self. My goal in therapy is to empower the client to develop the capacity and skills to move past their suffering into a greater sense of well-being, peace and freedom.

Sarah has experience in trauma focused care, crisis work, counseling, and evaluation. She is EMDR Therapy trained, and is skilled at meeting clients where they are through a trauma focused perspective. With a strength based and integrative approach, Sarah is passionate about moving clients into a place of change, and healing.

I am currently accepting new patients. I have years of experience working with adults, children, and families. I pride myself on providing client centered care focusing on you and your needs. I specialize in anxiety, depression, trauma, marriage therapy, and substance use disorders. My clients describe me as easy to talk to, open and honest. Kaleigh is certified in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and has extensive experience working with patients who have experienced complex and severe trauma. She enjoys working with adolescents and adults who struggle with ADHD, anxiety or depression. She loves helping clients find interpersonal approaches to healing their past trauma, navigating their current circumstances and implementing positive changes to improve their overall quality of life and well-being.

I am a licensed social worker providing counseling in the Cincinnati area. I work with adolescents (12+) and adults and specialize in depression, PTSD/trauma, and working with LGBTQ+ individuals. I am EMDR trained from an EMDRIA-approved trainer and my passion is working with individuals who have experienced trauma.

I have a passion for working with teens, families, and first responders recognizing and understanding the unique challenges they face. Whether working with children, adolescents, or adults, I like to use a blend of humor, compassion, and empathy in my sessions. I truly believe that my role as a therapist is incredibly honorable, and I strive to create a supportive and non-judgmental environment for my clients to explore their feelings and experiences.

At Authentic Life Counseling, I utilize a variety of evidence based therapeutic approaches including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT). I work with individuals ages 14 and up to address general mental health concerns, with a special focus on culturally diverse populations and boys/men. In my experience, I have helped individuals tackle issues of masculinity, cultural identity, dual-culture relationships, while helping rediscover their purpose in life. It is my passion to help individuals gain an understanding and acceptance of themselves, using a culturally sensitive therapeutic approach.

My ideal client would be someone struggling to manage their mental health and/or substance usage. They have a desire to rehabilitate by developing coping skills to help them better manage their emotions and concerns.
