My goal as a psychologist is to help individuals find their full potential. I strive to help clients discover their hidden strengths and areas for growth; thereby learning to more effectively face their concerns. I have extensive training and experience in psychological testing. I provide ADHD and Autism testing for adults and children. I can help clarify or differentiate a diagnosis as well. My strategy with psychological assessment is to help people understand their underlying condition and provide recommendations to help them thrive. I do not accept insurance for psychological testing but do accept insurance for ongoing therapy.

While there is no magic trick or secret solution to solve all of our challenges, there is value in building a trusting relationship and having a space to share your thoughts, feelings, and fears where you can be met with compassion, empathy, and patience. I am a licensed Counseling Psychologist (Ohio: in person and virtually) and LGBT Coach (virtually) who has been in private practice since 2012. I work primarily with individuals in late adolescence and adulthood who are open to interpersonal therapy aimed at helping you discover, understand, and strengthen coping skills for managing life's stressors and living your most authentic life. My goal is to understand you and your world as best as I can from your perspective so that I can be as helpful to you as possible in making meaningful changes in your life.

Dr. Laura Obert is a Psychologist in Ohio who has been practicing since 2012. She earned her Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from Auburn University. Dr. Obert specializes in working with the LGBTQ+ population and their families. As a member of this community who was also trained specifically in working with this community, Dr. Obert believes she has both a personal and professional understanding of the various factors that uniquely affect the LGBTQ+ population.

Lauren O'Brien is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor-Supervisor who has been practicing since 2011. She graduated from John Carroll University in University Heights, Ohio with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Lauren believes in following her clients on their individual journey and joining with them to create an individualized approach to care. Lauren offers a humanistic approach to care, utilizing Cognitive Behavioral therapy, elements of Gestalt therapy and person-centered therapy.

I have worked extensively with children and adolescent development, trauma and grief, pastoral care and spiritual abuse/recovery, women’s issues, gender transitioning, depression, anxiety, as well as major life transitions. I enjoy working with a diverse population and helping individuals find creative outlets that encourage confidence and empowerment within themselves.

I specialize in working with children, adolescents and young adults with emotional and behavioral concerns. I have experience working with a wide variety of behavioral health diagnosis and have been in the field as a licensed professional for 7 years.

Hello! I am a clinical social worker specializing in self-compassion, empowerment, and trauma informed practices. I have experience working with survivors of domestic and sexual abuse as well as over 5 years of experience working in reproductive healthcare. My areas of treatment include anxiety; life transitions; OCD; Borderline Personality Disorder; pre and post abortion counseling; domestic and sexual violence; harm reduction; gender identity and sexuality; eating disorders; and body dysmorphia.
