I am particularly passionate about helping clients manage life transitions and dealing with the losses and gains that change brings. I offer a women's group, Moving Beyond Transitions, that offers comraderie and support in managing challenges presented by intentional and unplanned transitions.

My approach is to understand you deeply and individualize our work by finding what is most effective for you. All people are unique and their life circumstances are particular to who they are. Through collaboration, we figure out what is what is most beneficial for your wellbeing and also what is realistic for your lifestyle. I am a counselor in NC and SC with 8 years of experience. I started my career working with people with disabilities in a college. It taught me flexibility to help with diverse needs. People often separate mental/physical health, families/relationships, and careers. Yet, all of this plays part in our life satisfaction. When I transitioned to providing therapy, I gained experience working with trauma. I saw many people were unaware that past events were affecting their lives. I grew passionate about helping people recognize trauma responses and reduce symptoms. My specialties include trauma, depression, and anxiety disorders.

I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor Supervisor with over 10 years of experience in the mental health field. Previously, I worked in the non-profit community mental. I assisted in creating and developing a Transitional Youth program that specializes in working with young adults and adolescents. In addition to working with the Transitional Youth population, I have worked as an advocate for Victims of Crime (VOC). Areas of interest include working with teens and young adults. I hold licenses in (LPCC-S) Ohio, (LPCS) South Carolina, (LPC, CPCS) Georgia and Florida. I am a counselor supervisor for OH, SC and GA.

I am passionate about children, teens, and parents. I chose to specialize in Child Clinical Psychology because I find children and adolescents to be fun to work with and incredibly strong and inspiring. I particularly enjoy working with those with anxiety and mood difficulties, and have extensive experience working with those with a history of traumatic experiences including abuse.
