With Tropical Cyclone Alfred forecast to impact Southeast Queensland tomorrow, ADZ Energy has closed our Brisbane Office to allow our team (in Brisbane or in the field) and who are in potential impacted areas to prepare ahead of the Cyclone, and in providing support to their families. ADZ Energy encourages all to remain informed of key safety messages and alerts from the Queensland Government and Queensland State Emergency Service. ADZ Energy will continue to provide updates to our workforce, and in monitoring conditions for our field-based operations to ensure our team's health and safety is prioritised during this time. ADZ Energy will continue to monitor and assess the cyclone’s impact over the weekend. At this stage, our Brisbane office is planned to reopen next Monday, this will be dependent on wider impacts from the Cyclone. We are looking for Plant & Well Operators in Surat, Western Queensland to help scale production at our Kincora Gas Plant and meet growing demand in the East Coast Gas Market.   🔧 Position Overview: As a Plant & Well Operator, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and operating our facilities, including managing wells, gathering infrastructure, and performing pigging operations and product load-outs. Your responsibilities will also involve troubleshooting, carrying out first-line repairs, and creating quality Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and shutdown work packs.   💡 What We’re Looking For: 🔹 Experience: 5-8 years in the hydrocarbon industry, with expertise in upstream operations, oil and gas facilities, well head maintenance, and reciprocating compressors (preferably Ajax). 🔹 Qualifications: A trade certificate in operations/maintenance is preferred. 🔹 Skills: Strong communication, adaptability, attention to detail, and the ability to work both autonomously and in a team environment.   🌱 Why ADZ Energy? These surveys will play a crucial role in securing upcoming project approvals. Operating in remote and unique environments, #ADZEnergy is committed to gathering essential ecological data to ensure our projects are executed with environmental responsibility. We greatly appreciate the expert support from Airborne Solutions (Clinton Brisk) and Paul Fox, who successfully carried out the survey with a focus on safety. #ADZEnergy #WeCAIR #NorthernTerritory

This week, Kath Lange and Tracy King from our leadership team visited Surat, where they inspected the workover rig on the Myall Creek North-1 well. Their visit was part of our ongoing production optimisation program, focusing on well intervention and optimisation efforts at #ADZEnergy. Kath and Tracy also proudly wore our "talking shirts" to raise awareness for mental health in the field – a great conversation starter. "Every TradeMutt shirt in the wild is a reminder that you'll never walk alone." Sometimes, a conversation is all anyone needs.
