Built Environs along with our partners delivered this all-electric, 5 Star Green Star facility, setting a new benchmark for sustainable sports infrastructure in Melbourne. With flexible courts for basketball, netball, volleyball, and futsal - plus a 24-hour gym, café, and community spaces - Bundha Sports Centre is designed to meet the growing demand for sports facilities in built-up inner-city areas. 📣 Project Spotlight: Botany Aquatic Centre The Botany Aquatic Centre is evolving into a modern, sustainable recreation hub with learn-to-swim, competition, and indoor lap pools, an adventure water play area, a splash pad, and new amenities, including a café, child-minding services, gym space, and change rooms. Our design includes key #sustainability initiatives like being #NetZeroReady, electrifying engineering systems, maximising onsite #RenewableEnergy, and efficient energy monitoring. We also prioritised #IndoorAirQuality and adopted a water-sensitive design approach with #WaterEfficient fixtures, consumption monitoring, leak detection, and rainwater harvesting systems. These advancements will offer a more sustainable, efficient, and enjoyable recreational experience for our clients. It's hard to believe that the GMHBA Stadium was completed over a year ago. This incredible venue has transformed the spectator experience and set new standards in sports lighting design. A special shoutout to Specialist Sports Lighting Designer Brenden McGrath, who was present at the game last year to witness firsthand how the lighting installation has supported the spectator experience and enhanced the field of play. Brenden's expertise and dedication have illuminated the stadium, making every event memorable. Here's to many more years of spectacular moments at GMHBA Stadium! 🌟 

We’re excited to reflect on this project and our role in bringing Inveresk Library to life! Being part of a design that so deeply embraces community values and knowledge reminds us why we love what we do—creating meaningful spaces through the power of light. Spearheaded by Wardle in collaboration with 1+2 Architecture, Inveresk Library embodies the community's visions and values in every part of its build. Situated between the Annexe Theatre and the School of Creative Arts, the library features striking sawtooth rooflines and industrial materials, creating a dynamic interaction with Launceston's architectural landscape. Spanning three levels, the library is designed to be a welcoming and inclusive space. Shaped by a community-driven approach incorporating indigenous experiences and knowledge, it provides study areas, collections, and meeting rooms, while custom carpets, joinery, and lighting add unique character and reinforce its distinct identity. This project is featured in First Light Edition 3—a publication that explores the possibilities of the old, the innovations of the new, and the brilliance of architecture and lighting. 📣 Project Spotlight: Aquapulse and Encore Events Centre Throwback to the incredible transformation of the 80 Derrimut Road Site in Hoppers Crossing. The Aquapulse and Encore Events Centre has been a vibrant community hub since its opening. The project included a new library, expanded #aquatic and #leisure facilities, and a redeveloped events centre, all designed to enhance learning, #recreation, and social engagement. The upgraded centre continues to offer modern amenities like improved swimming pools, fitness areas, and leisure spaces, catering to diverse recreational activities for all ages. It integrates seamlessly with other community services, fostering increased interaction and social cohesion. Sustainability was a key focus, with energy-efficient designs, natural #daylight, efficient pool #WaterFiltration, #RainwaterCapture and reuse, and high-performing #facades. At Connect25, I was reminded of a simple truth: our greatest strength lies in our people. In Vancouver, over 90 leaders from TYLin, Introba, and Landrum & Brown gathered to shape our collective future. It was inspiring to see such a diverse and passionate group come together to explore new ways to drive innovation, strengthen collaboration, foster generosity, and define strategies that will help us continue supporting our clients in making the world a better place. The energy, exchange of ideas, and shared commitment to leading our industry left me feeling inspired for what’s to come. As we continue to learn from one another, strengthen relationships, and align our efforts, we are building a stronger, more connected foundation to reach our fullest potential.
