📣 Project Spotlight: Tae Rak Aquaculture Centre We are proud to have contributed to the Tae Rak Aquaculture Centre in the Budj Bim Landscape, a place of deep cultural significance to the Gunditjmara people. This ancient site, one of the world's oldest aquaculture systems, is a testament to the enduring wisdom of the Gunditijmara, who have cared for this land for thousands of years. In respecting this heritage, we designed an off-grid power system that blends modern #sustainability with the land's #NaturalRhythms. By harnessing #SolarPower and using #EnergyEfficientBuildingPractices, we support the ongoing #stewardship of the land while minimising environmental impact. A new benchmark in design and care delivery, Regis Aged Care Camberwell is now open and operational. HSPC Health Architects led the architectural design and delivery of Melbourne’s latest $40M greenfield residential aged care home, nestled in the inner eastern suburbs. The exterior design aesthetic enhances the surrounding area, blending seamlessly with its environment. Located adjacent to parklands, it provides a connection to nature, complemented by a thoughtful biophilic overlay. Luxury and comfort are reflected throughout the home which features asalon, day spa, library, cinema, and private dining room. These amenities provide engaging spaces for residents and their loved ones to connect and celebrate special occasions together. The three-storey, 112-bed residence was completed by Building Engineering, with meticulous attention to detail at every stage. We congratulate the entire team on this achievement and look forward to continuing to deliver excellence in the seniors’ living and aged care sector. 📣 Project Spotlight: 477 Pitt Street, Sydney Heritage meets innovation at this stunning transformation of 477 Pitt Street into a 30-story modern landmark. The refurbishment involved a phased upgrade of core systems while maintaining full operational functionality—a challenging feat that resulted in a sophisticated, tech-enabled environment. Key highlights include exposed ceilings showcasing suspended mechanical, electrical, and lighting systems for a sleek industrial aesthetic, as well as energy-efficient features like fan-assisted VAV boxes that regulate temperatures using return air, significantly reducing energy consumption. The revitalisation also thoughtfully integrated heritage elements, including the iconic AGL building and former Presbyterian House, preserving their character while enhancing modern functionality. The ground-floor lobby is a standout feature, with a double-height design, natural light, and contemporary finishes complemented by a floor-to-ceiling digital screen.
