#DEFYConference2024 is still making ripples in the #DiverseSupplier community! 😊
Last month, I was thrilled to participate in DEFY, a conference that welcomed hundreds of suppliers and corporations from across four vibrant networks and Canada's largest diversity event. I met with amazing entrepreneurs and representatives from corporations, like Cathy Carroll Cynthia B. Darcy Boucher-Luca Stephanie Fontaine Veronica Marquez and much much more! I even had the opportunity to pitch to the entire attendance about how I defied the odds in my industry. Thank you to WEConnect International, CAMSC Canada's 2SLGBTQI+ Chamber of Commerce (CGLCC) and Supplier Diversity Alliance Canada for an amazing event!

Throughout the year, but especially during #NationalIndigenousHistoryMonth and today, on #NationalIndigenousPeoplesDay, we want to recognize the teachings of Indigenous populations, and emphasis the importance of including them in our practices, to create a more inclusive and respectful business setting in which we all can prosper. We invited Indigenous suppliers to talk a bit about ways in which they apply their rich heritage to foster balance and inclusion in the supply chain.
