GIM Founding Member Pradeep Kakkattil confirms it: Geneva is a great place for your innovation-related business!
Serial entrepreneur, innovation and Impact. Co-Founder Health Innovation Exchange & Women in Innovation Fund (WiNFUND).
If you are an innovator, I can't think of a better place than #Geneva to fast track your business! Check out the new #innovation strategy 2025-27 that Geneva canton launched recently that highlights the priorities with a clear commitment to investing in building the innovation ecosystem to help innovators thrive. Having participated in consultations towards development of the strategy, really thrilled to see the emphasis on #health innovation as a priority focus. Geneva is home to @WHO and some of the largest funders of global health including The Global Fund, Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance, Unitaid, Stop TB Partnership. Geneva is also home to some of the largest impact investors. I am convinced that Geneva could be home to health unicorns that can contribute significantly to the local economy and to accelerating global health. At Health Innovation Exchange - HIEx we have benefitted from the support of the Canton and have made a commitment to building a health unicorn in Geneva by 2030. You can learn more about how HIEx plans to support entrepreneurs from around the world at our sessions on 20 May on the margins of the World Health Assembly at the Hotel Intercontinental. https://lnkd.in/ezucK5J2 https://lnkd.in/ezucK5J2 Andrew Nerlinger Lisa McDonald Biju Jacob Paula Navajas Ergüín, MBA WiNFUND Health Innovation Exchange - HIEx Denis BROUN Denis Cavin Beatrice Ferrari

How should #Geneva navigate its #digital #future? 🚀 The full recording of The Innovation Debate is now available for all on our website. This year’s edition featured Deborah Mattatia, Alexandre Robert-Tissot, Sebastian Buckup, and Carmen Hett to discuss wether our city should enhance its technological expertise 🤖 or continue to strengthen its globally recognized role around digital ethics, policy, and regulation 🤝. 🌐 Key Takeaways include: - The #balance between technological advancement and ethical governance is crucial for sustainable innovation. One thing cannot thrive without the other. - Geneva's strength in building trust and facilitating international #collaboration sets it apart from other global hubs. - Leveraging Switzerland’s broader technological resources should include potential #synergies with already established tech hubs. - Initiatives like Giga’s school connectivity project exemplify how technology paired with thoughtful governance can address societal issues effectively. The debate ended with a split decision, reflecting the complex nature of this issue. 🗯 Join this debate and share your perspectives.
