About us
SABA health is a digital platform made for the youth age group of Ethiopia with the purpose of providing education and open discussions on issues related to Sexual and Reproductive health and rights. This tech-based project utilizes a mobile phone application, a website, a telegram channel, and social media pages. Through SABA Application, young women and girls are able to track their Menstrual period cycle and get reminders to take oral contraceptives as well as learn about Menstrual health and hygiene products, family planning and Sexually transmitted infections. Through the website and our Ask SABA telegram bot, both men and women will be able to access comprehensive and accurate information in local languages and have their questions answered on SRHR topics.

Role Description We are seeking a Digital Marketer and Social Media Manager intern to join our team at SABA Health. This hybrid role will primarily operate from our office in Addis Ababa but with flexibility for remote work. Day-to-day, the successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing digital marketing and social media strategies, creating and curating informative and engaging content, analyzing metrics, managing campaigns across various channels, and nurturing a growing community of users. Qualifications Medical Doctor with Marketing and Communications skills. Experience in digital marketing and social media management. Experience in social media analytics and advertising, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok and LinkedIn Familiarity with using Canva and Video editing tools. Strong writing and communication skills, with an ability to write clear and concise social media content. Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, and collaborate with team members. Knowledge of sexual and reproductive health and rights is an asset.
