🎉 As the countdown begins, we’re excited to share that our design for MixC Changzhou has been shortlisted for the World Interiors News (WIN) Awards 2024 in the category of “Retail Chains, Department Stores, Shopping Centres Large & Small.” This 232,000-square-meter retail destination is strategically located at the intersection of two metro lines in the Tianning District, ensuring easy access for visitors to explore its seven vibrant floors filled with retail, entertainment, and lifestyle experiences. The design thoughtfully incorporates elements of local tea culture, featuring fluid forms and intricate patterns that pay homage to the region's heritage. With a warm, earth-tone palette inspired by traditional tea-making, the space creates a calming atmosphere and facilitates a seamless journey for the next generation of consumers. What an incredible night at the Building Innovation Awards Ceremony in #Manchester!   We were shortlisted in two categories, our latest research — Retrofit Revisit: 10 Case Studies – was shortlisted in the ‘Best Retrofit Innovation or Project’ category, and co-authors, Marion Baeli, Principal – Sustainability Transformation at 10 Design, and Julie Godefroy, Head of Net Zero Policy at CIBSE, were shortlisted for ‘Innovator of the Year’.   ✨ We’re delighted to share that we won the Best Retrofit Innovation! A huge thank you to Principal, Matt Bremner, for proudly accepting the award on our behalf.   “We are thrilled that our research on building performance evaluation applied to 10-year retrofits has won best retrofit innovation! This recognition celebrates the talent of the whole team and will provide valuable insights for scaling-up much needed retrofits across the country,” shared Marion Baeli and Julie Godefroy.   Supported by Innovate UK, part of UK Research and Innovation, Historic England, and Studio PDP, the research delves into the performance of 10 unique housing projects a decade after implementing deep retrofit measures.
