Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland (SEAI) energy grants are available to all homeowners affected by Defective Concrete Blocks. A significant number of Donegal homeowners took the opportunity this week to learn about accessing SEAI grants at our Inishowen information evening in partnership with Inishowen Development Partnership last Monday evening 23rd September. Some of our registered retrofit providers also attended to engage directly with homeowners. I want to reassure DCB affected homeowners and communities that SEAI will continue to support them to upgrade their homes with local SEAI contractors and builders. For information on SEAI supports visit www.seai.ie or email dcb@seai.ie

Many people are asking how HVO (Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil) can meaningfully contribute to decarbonising Ireland's energy future. Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland (SEAI)'s Director of Research & Policy Margie McCarthy has the answer and it is not in home heating. Margie's must read expert blog on the subject explains why. #energytransition
HVO can be part of our clean energy transition.

Very busy Day #1 National Ploughing Association / Championships for the Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland (SEAI) Team. Lots of questions and interest in our supports and grants for farmers and homeowners. Good conversations with Ministers Charlie McConalogue Malcolm Noonan Alan Dillon TD and Deputy Michael Moynihan who still operates his family farm, on Ireland's first National Biomethane Strategy which SEAI is centrally involved in supporting. Looking forward to Day #2. Visit SEAI's Stand 173, Row 11, Block 3 and meet the team who can answer all your questions on our grants, supports & research. #Ploughing2024
