This week marked a significant milestone for me with a series of meaningful engagements.
I joined the Korea-Japan Parliamentarian Dialogue on #Hydrogen #Collaboration to introduce GGGI’s efforts in hydrogen and invite stakeholders to the Hydrogen to Green Growth (H2G) Initiative. This initiative will unite governments, partners, and investors to accelerate clean hydrogen adoption by addressing technical, regulatory, and financial challenges. #GGGI looks forward to strengthening #partnerships and advancing this crucial agenda.
Another highlight of the week was the inaugural luncheon following my appointment as Director-General of GGGI. It was a truly humbling moment, filled with deep gratitude and strong #motivation, as I received warm congratulatory remarks from GGGI’s President & Chair H.E. Ban Ki-moon, Acting President of the Republic of Korea H.E Choi Sang-mok through video message; Minister of Foreign Affairs Republic of Korea, H.E. Cho Tae-yul; Ambassador of Norway, H.E. Anne Kari Hansen Ovind; and the Governor of the Bank of Korea Rhee Chang Yong. Their words and esteemed global leaders' participation reinforced my #vision and made our shared #goals even clearer. At GGGI, we will continue to move forward, fostering #collaboration, leading #innovation, and striving to be the most #trusted organization in our field.
I also had the opportunity to appear on The Globalist show on Arirang TV, where I shared insights on what GGGI does, how we work, and our future priorities. Thank you, Professor Jiae Son, for the insightful questions—I truly enjoyed our conversation. For the ones who would like to watch the interview, please click here: https://bit.ly/3XUbaKn
Looking ahead, next week, GGGI is hosting its Spring Annual Meeting, bringing together colleagues from around the world to our headquarters. I look forward to meeting more of our global team in person and exchanging ideas that will drive our mission forward. It’s already mid-March, and I am both grateful and proud of the progress GGGI has made. Together, we are moving forward as one!
