♻️Waste Not, Want Not National Energy has completed our second solar-powered waste compactor and recycling hub project, located at the Port of Galeota. This system is designed to meet Trinidad and Tobago’s environmental standards while promoting proper waste management practices. The hub includes: ✅ Three recycling bins for plastic, paper, glass, and aluminum cans, strategically placed at Customs, the Administration Office, and the Security Booth. ✅ A solar-powered waste compactor, fully operational using clean energy from sunlight. Historic Arrivals at Port of Galeota! Our Port of Galeota recently welcomed two major shipments, each making history in the process. First, the Bourbon Sapphire, the largest platform supply and dynamic positioning vessel to ever dock at the port, delivered 130 pipes, marking the port’s biggest discharge operation to date. Not long after, the Mokesh barge made history as the largest barge to ever berth at the port, offloading 523 pipes. These milestones follow Port of Galeota’s recent celebration of a decade of excellence as a logistics hub which supports oil and gas operations across Trinidad and Tobago, Guyana, and the wider region.

National Energy Corporation of Trinidad and Tobago Limited reposted this
As we get ready to celebrate 🥳 Christmas 🎄 and finish up 2024, I'm remembering many amazing experiences from this year. One of my best work exploits was serving onboard the #NEC Majestic. NEC Majestic is a Damen ASD 3110 tug with a rich maritime history in 🇹🇹 and the Caribbean. The Majestic has done it all, salvage and tow, rig moves, harbor-assist, cargo operations, you name it she's done it. I was honored to serve on this vessel 🚢 for over two months including up the islands. The video below shows when I signed off in Martinique 🇲🇶 in November, after an extended, safe and successful ship delivery. So, as we get ready to sign off 2024, let's remember to reflect on all the positive things we've completed 🎖 👏🏾 😀. And lastly, from my family and I to everyone on LinkedIn, please have a wonderful Christmas ✝️ and amazing 2025!
