Great to start the year with a successful appeal win for our client Dan Green (no relation!) of Spencer Gill Developments at Welford-on-Avon. Despite a great design by the team at Glancy Nicholls Architects, it was one of those sites that proves that small infill schemes can be just as challenging as larger schemes to get through the system. Thanks also go to Odette Chalaby of No5 Barristers' Chambers for support with the appeal and to the technical team including Simon Jesson and Danielle Swann at Glancy's, Beth Thomas from Jubb, Mike Brownstone of Resound, Peter Wharton and Adam Hughes from EDP.

So great to see this school being delivered and ready for the first students this term. Delta Planning has been involved from the very earliest stages having secured the outline approval back in 2020 and then the detailed Reserved Matters in 2022. A final site visit to Oakley Grove this week. It's exciting to see Stowe Valley Multi Academy Trust moving in and making the spaces their own. The school is set to open in September for a new intake of pupils. I have really enjoyed leading and delivering this project with the support of Indraj Bhachu and Sheikh Tanim Ahmed. A huge well done to the entire design team, Willmott Dixon and their team of specialists, subcontractors and suppliers on what was a challenging project to design and construct in a short timeframe.
