  • The best content comes from solid insight, like Rolling Stone's YouTube series out this week, based on the question we've ALL been asked: who are your dream dinner party guests? As everyone knows, the beauty of this universal question isn't in the people you choose, but the mix of anecdotes, personalities and 'energies' you bring together. So 'Cards on the Table' sees – the downright glorious – Stanley Tucci host a sophisticated soiree, so far bringing together a poet (Inua Ellams) and astronomer (Brian Cox) in the latest ep, as well as a Spice Girl (Mel C) and Formula 1 driver (Carlos Sainz) in the pilot. In a world of 6s snippets, here's the low and slow approach: knocking on 30-mins of unfiltered, honest conversation between an unlikely foursome. With podcasts creeping into the visual world, this new series slots right into our YouTube playlist. The only thing that maaaybe misses the mark? Sponsored by, your friend and ours, Allbirds shoes. As evident by Stanley's opening march into the house, donning sparkling new kicks. Well, that free-pouring pinot doesn't pay for itself. Will you be staying tuned? https://lnkd.in/e33qQaDv

Have you heard the incredible* story of Carolyn Davidson’s infamous ‘swoosh’? Carolyn was only paid $35 for the now iconic Nike logo. Years later, the brand gifted Davidson 500 shares of the company, now worth $3 million+. As Nat Maher (founder of design diversity organisation Kerning the Gap) said: “The world is male-shaped and then adapted for women”. Today, just 23% of designers in the UK today are women. But that doesn’t reflect the incredible influence and impact of women in the industry. To mark International Women’s Day, and Women’s History Month, Lark designer Jess is putting a spotlight on some of the designers we should all have on our bookshelves. Scroll to see brilliant work by Paula Scher, Carolyn Davidson, Gail Anderson, Susan Kare and Margaret Calvert. #InternationalWomensDay #WomensHistoryMonth * Incredible, for all the wrong reasons.

  • Kicking off Endometriosis Awareness Week & Month, we have to reshare Beth’s experience of living with endo and adenomyosis, told as part of our award-winning campaign for Wellbeing of Women: Just a Period. This initiative gives women’s health the space it desperately deserves. Nobody can defend or justify the DECADES of excruciating pain Beth (and all of the cast) have had to live with. But charities like Wellbeing of Women are working to make sure girls and women suffering in the future are taken seriously and supported. Google ‘Just a period’ to find out more. #Endometriosis #Endo #WomensHealth #JustAPeriod #EndometriosisAwarenessWeek #EndometriosisAwarenessMonth

  • We’re not lawyers, but taking people’s stuff without permission or payment... that’s called theft, right? Our creative talent is one of our most valuable resources as a nation, and one of our defining characteristics as humans. If others want to use it, great. But MAKE IT FAIR.

The UK’s creative industries have today launched an unprecedented campaign #MakeItFair across national, local and regional news brands to highlight how their content is at risk of being given away for free to AI firms as the government proposes weakening copyright law. • Way, way back in 2021, Dementia UK tasked us with coming up with a flexible, engaging, emotive brand awareness campaign to see them through the next five years. This campaign became 'I live with dementia', sharing the heartbreaking experience of carers and loved ones when someone in their life is diagnosed with dementia. Today, it's evolved into 'We live with dementia': inviting all of the charity's different audiences (each with their unique stories) to come together as one community. Year 4 of the campaign sees our hero visuals and guide takeaway back on your DOOH and social screens, and the Dementia UK social team working up more and more supporting activity (like these helpful tips for families) to make sure every channel feels connected. We've loved every bit of this project. Let us know what you think below...

White text on the left reads: “The tips that resonate with me are around managing your wellbeing as a carer. Mum put her life on hold and made Gran her number one priority. We ensured she never felt isolated whilst doing everything we could for Gran.” Ricky.

The guide shows us there are ways forward to cope with all situations.” Clare.
  • Brilliant to hear our latest project with The Civil Service Retirement Fellowship (The CSRF) has been performing so well in the wild. Thank you, David T.! 🤝
