The LCF Team were excited to attend the Lincolnshire Chamber of Commerce S.E.L. to the World Awards last night. It was a fantastic opportunity to celebrate the #UKSPF output in the South & East Lincolnshire Councils Partnership area with other key delivery partners. We were grateful for the opportunity to present awards to some of the outstanding individuals who played a pivotal role in some of the UKSPF GRASSroots Grant projects and also get the chance to promote the huge impact felt across the whole scheme through this investment into local communities.

This evening, Cavan went over to visit the Wragby Reload Centre in East Lindsey for the Junior Youth Club evening! As well as seeing the newly prepared sports hall and squash court floors which were well used with a dodgeball session and games of ‘What’s the time, Mr Wolf’, Cavan also got to enjoy pancakes made by those attending the session and see some of the amazing activities going on around the Hub including designing tote bags, pool and gaming on the Nintendo Wii! It was great fun, but also a great chance to speak with the youth workers and fabulous volunteers (both young and older) who allow all this to happen. The impact they have on young people and their wider local community is wonderful to see and could certainly be felt in the room. We’re glad to have supported them with a #UKSPF GRASSroots Grant. We're always happy to see organisations we've supported get the plaudits they deserve in the local press. This time it's the incredible Louth Jazz Club who we've supported with a grant from our Supporting Social Enterprise Scheme with the South & East Lincolnshire Councils Partnership. This grant will play a key role in supporting the Club's efforts to renew interest in jazz in Louth and beyond. With the club backed by over 60 years of history, we hope this investment will help the Club showcase its offer to a wider audience and keep this independent venue on the map for many more years to come. https://lnkd.in/dv8TsasK Sue Fortune Helen Kearsley-Cree Aaron Bailey Cavan Collins East Lindsey District Council Saul F.
