We're always happy to see organisations we've supported get the plaudits they deserve in the local press. This time it's the incredible Louth Jazz Club who we've supported with a grant from our Supporting Social Enterprise Scheme with the South & East Lincolnshire Councils Partnership. This grant will play a key role in supporting the Club's efforts to renew interest in jazz in Louth and beyond. With the club backed by over 60 years of history, we hope this investment will help the Club showcase its offer to a wider audience and keep this independent venue on the map for many more years to come. https://lnkd.in/dv8TsasK Sue Fortune Helen Kearsley-Cree Aaron Bailey Cavan Collins East Lindsey District Council Saul F. #LCFXmas has arrived! For the last week, we have been running a Christmas campaign on our Facebook page. It's an exciting opportunity to put a spotlight on our funded groups and the amazing work they do, whilst also encouraging some festive fun - all with an exciting prize draw set to take place on Christmas Eve. If you think you can guess these groups and places from their cryptic clues, make sure to check out our Facebook page to see if you are right with which groups have already been spotlighted and join us for the rest of the campaign as we continue to showcase some of the fabulous work funded through Lincolnshire Community Foundation schemes recently.

Lincolnshire Community Foundation reposted this
Yesterday evening Helen Cater and I were privileged to attend 'Together at Christmas' at St Mary & St Nicholas Parish Church in Spalding hosted by The Office of the Lord-Lieutenant of Lincolnshire on behalf of The Royal Foundation of The Prince and Princess of Wales. The aim of the service was to celebrate the power of community, love and empathy. This led me to reflect on how the team at Lincolnshire Community Foundation demonstrate these qualities daily as they strive to support organisations within the voluntary, community, faith and social enterprise sector as well as individuals and families across Lincolnshire. In the last three months over £500,000 has been awarded, but much more than this, communities and people feel supported, valued and appreciated. This wouldn't be possible without the trust placed in us by partners, donors and agencies and we appreciate each and every one. #WorkingTogether #Empathy #Communities #FunderPlus Saul F. Significant renovations have now begun at the Birchwood Scout Hut thanks to funding provided through the Birchwood Big Local scheme. The Scout Hut plays a key role in providing community activity in Birchwood and through the opportunity to distribute funding in this area through the Birchwood Big Local programme, we hope to support the Scouts to revitalise and modernise this space to ensure the local community and various community groups who use this building regularly have a safe, warm community space which is fully equipped to cater for the needs of those utilising it. We look forward to following the progress of this project going forward and seeing the impact this renovation work will have on the Birchwood community.
