An inspiring afternoon at the official opening of the Pembroke Dock Marine Project with Deputy Prime Minister Angela Rayner, First Minister of Wales, Eluned Morgan and Secretary of State for Wales, Jo Stevens. The culmination of years of hard work, the project offers an immense opportunity for developers to test new technologies, driving forward innovation and industrial growth for Wales. At MEW and PCF we will continue to support the project and help ensure it reaches its full potential, as well as ensuring our local communities best benefit. A milestone day in Pembrokeshire, with the official opening of the Pembroke Dock Marine project. Fantastic to see it making the headlines in Wales 🙌 The £60 million project, backed by Swansea Bay City Deal - Bargen Ddinesig Bae Abertawe, has delivered world-leading port infrastructure including a new super-size slipway and 6.5 hectares of new laydown space. Alongside META: Marine Energy Test Area and the Marine Energy Engineering Centre of Excellence it aims to attract the attention of global renewable energy investors and drive forward innovation. Great to meet with Henry Tufnell MP at the Pembrokeshire County Show this morning. We had a productive discussion about the future of Floating Offshore Wind in the Celtic Sea and the significant benefits it could bring to our region. It was inspiring to hear Henry's passion for driving long-term economic growth through the opportunities presented by the Floating Offshore Wind industry here in Wales.

Congratulations to Celtic Sea Power, Dolphyn Hydrogen, Wales & West Utilities and Offshore Renewable Energy Catapult in achieving funding for the Milford Haven : Hydrogen Kingdom project supporting the floating wind and marine energy ambition to deliver industrial decarbonisation and net zero for the region.   We were pleased to progress this opportunity in a small way by hosting Dolphyn Hydrogen in our META: Marine Energy Test Area, supported by the #PembrokeDockMarine project, a collaboration with Port of Milford Haven, Celtic Sea Power, Offshore Renewable Energy Catapult, and Pembrokeshire County Council as part of the Swansea Bay City Deal - Bargen Ddinesig Bae Abertawe.
