✨ We’re excited to announce the launch of Unit 5 in our eLearning series for early-career multiprofessionals in children, teenage, and young adult cancer services! 👏 Unit 5 focuses on the common side effects, oncological emergencies, and complications experienced by patients during cancer treatment. It looks at these side effects in the short, intermediate, and long term, as well as the concept of late effects and long-term follow-up care. The full set of nine units form a foundation course called ‘An introduction to cancer in a child, teenager or young adult’, though they can be taken individually. The aim is to improve options and access to foundation-level learning in a timely way, in a format where learners can choose their schedule of learning. Jo Stark, Chief Nurse at CCLG, shared: “After the successful launch of Units 1-4 and Unit 8 of our e-Learning series, we're thrilled to be launching Unit 5. We have over 800 users accessing the learning platform and the feedback on the current units continues to be very good or outstanding.” Units 6,7 and 9 coming soon!
