Last week, our Head of Safe Autonomy, Prof Siddartha Khastgir was invited to the UK Parliament's UK House of Lords to speak at a 𝗽𝗮𝗻𝗲𝗹 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗰𝘂𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗮𝗰𝗸𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗰𝗹𝗶𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲. This panel was organised by the Royal Air Force (RAF) and @Asian Voices and hosted by Lord Loomba CBE. Climate change is a global challenge, and no country can tackle it on its own🛡 Prof Khastgir suggested a 𝘄𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗲-𝘀𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗮𝗰𝗵 in which 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝘀𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗲𝘁𝘆 𝗵𝗮𝘀 𝗮 𝗿𝗼𝗹𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝘆 𝗶𝗻 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗯𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗶𝘀𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗿𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗲 𝗲𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀. More collaboration between countries, like the UK and India, will help solve the global problem quicker by sharing expertise and working together. 🇬🇧 🇮🇳 Prof Khastgir also shared how self-driving and other transport technologies could make our roads greener and cut carbon emissions.
