This September sees the return of the extended double weekend for Open House London 2024. Roca London Gallery designed by Zaha Hadid Architects will be open as usual on Saturday 14th and 21st, and additionally on Sunday 15th from 11:00 – 17.00 each day. Guided architectural tours delivered by Zaha Hadid Design will be given on Saturday 14th September at 12:00 and 15:00. The tours will last around 1 hour and there is no need to book in advance. Visitors to the gallery will also have the opportunity to explore Bio-Spaces: Regenerative, Resilient Futures exhibition, curated by Planted Community and Oliver Heath Design studio Bio-Spaces runs until 30th September and plunges visitors into the world of biophilic design, exploring biodiversity and biomimicry in design, as well as biomorphic design, bio-based materials and bioregenerative design. Millions of people across the globe are being displaced from their homes in response to extreme situations such as wars and natural disasters. Economic hardship and the lack of opportunities is also provoking a pattern of massive migrations to urban areas, resulting in the depopulation of rural communities.
