Big thanks and congrats to Sustainable Brands on another excellent conference! We were encouraged by all of the support for Ad Net Zero throughout the week and during our workshop and keynote sessions on quantifying and reducing emissions from marketing and advertising, and how advertising can accelerate to more sustainable behaviors. Thanks to Martin Bryan, Chief Sustainability Officer at IPG Mediabrands and Carlos Lahoz, Head of Industrial Print Sustainability Strategy at HP who, alongside Ad Net Zero's Rachel Schnorr and Bill Wescott, shared valuable perspectives and tangible examples of what their organizations are doing to measure and reduce emissions, across media, events, and partner internally and externally to make progress across the marketing supply chain. A lot of interest around the #GlobalMediaSustainabilityFramework which creates much-needed LCAs for the six core media channels. This provides advertisers with a more accurate, activity-based way to quantify emissions instead of having to rely solely on spend-based estimates, and/or ensuring that media measurement tools are using reliable and consistent methodologies.
