How often do you check reviews? We bet any time you’re going to a new place or buying new things (most of them). The same applies to companies you get any kind of services from. For an IT company, there are two things that are a confirmation of high-quality services: 1. Feedback 2. Awards 🗣️First of all, of course, is the feedback. This is the one and only way to see if a company is good at its job. The reviews come from real clients who share their honest opinions about the quality of work and services, and sometimes some other aspects. The only thing here is to make sure the feedback comes from an actual client who worked with a company. There might be fake reviews, both good AND bad. 🏅Awards, on the other hand, are often based on the feedback too, but on the other criteria as well: projects & case studies, technical expertise & skills, industry standards, innovations, performance, etc. A company might get this one from Clutch, GoodFirms, Upwork, and other similar platforms. Here we go again… Living by the schedule defined as whether there is an electricity outage is not that fun. It's a good thing we don’t! This time, #incorateam is fully prepared for every scenario related to anything with the lights. Our office is equipped with a generator, which ensures our work continues seamlessly during outages. Charity Work Day. Charity has become an inevitable part of life for every Ukrainian. As a Ukrainian company, that also has our own charity fund, we cannot miss any opportunity to take part in such events. Charity Work Day is an initiative that has been on our “to-do” for quite some time now, but today is the perfect day to finally make it happen. Today, on the Day of the Ukrainian Constitution, it is charity work day at Incora. Despite it usually being a day off, the #incorateam is in the office, ready to work. Why's that? Well, not only because we love what we do, but because we will be donating all of today's income to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine. All proceeds will be directed to our INCORA for Ukraine fund, dedicated to supporting our defenders day-to-day. This ‘charity work day’ is one more way to thank those who make it possible for us to work today. Everything must come to an end… Even our three-week (😱) trip to the USA. And while we’re just a little upset, we're even more excited about the trips to come. In the meantime, we are ready to share a quick sum up of the trip. In the USA, we: ▪️visited more than 4 cities: Boston, Seattle, Huston, Miami, and also West Palm Beach, Lake Worth Beach, Doral, and Hollywood. ▪️went to networking events, IT conferences, American universities, museums, and other cultural places; ▪️met with our long-standing partners and planned our future cooperation and milestones ▪️met with our customers and worked out in detail the next stages of our work; Yes, there were a lot of meetings, but we weren't complaining. After all, that is why we came to the USA in the first place: to finally meet everyone, not through the screen. Rubber ducky theory. Have you heard of it? Basically, “rubber duck debugging” is when a developer explains the code line by line to detect any bugs or flaws. Not to bother any other developers (who are working too, you know) the explanation is given to a non-living object, like the rubber duck, hence the name. Do you have a duck on your desk? #incorateam has some, maybe not ducks, but other cool things✨ That’s how we make our office so cozy! The workspace is not just a laptop-monitor-headphones or other strictly technical environment. It’s also about things to cheer you up or help concentrate. Halfway through! 10 days behind and 10 days left of our business trip to the USA. This isn’t our first trip here, but we’ve gained some new perspectives 🇺🇸 First of all, it’s our first time in Miami. Amazing city! However, there aren’t many universities that teach computer science. Well, it’s a good thing we stopped by! Another thing we've noticed is how highly developed the financial industry is here. Maybe we just didn’t notice it before, but after Canada, we’ve got a sharper eye for these things 👀 But the nicest thing so far is how everyone cares about Ukraine and asks how we’re doing. We are proud to say that we are still standing and even working. Not just saying it, but proving too! 🇺🇦 Overall, all the meetings we've had so far have been great, and the cooperation has been so smooth that it inspired us to improve even more!
