    8 Ways to Use Video in Your Outbound Strategy Most cold emails go unread. Most LinkedIn DMs get ignored. But video? It gets attention. 👇 Here are 8 ways to use video in your strategy: 1️⃣ Cold Emails – Stand Out in the Inbox ⇢ Replace long text with a 30-60 second video ⇢ Mention their name & company in the first 5 seconds ⇢ End with a clear call to action (ex: "I can send a quick demo recording—interested? or "Let me know if a quick walkthrough would help.") 💡 Example: Instead of: "I help companies like yours improve XYZ..." Say: "Hey John, saw your team is hiring. Curious how you're handling [challenge].     Multi-Time SaaS Veteran - Current Quote to Cash Expert

    1.5 months into filling the pipe in 2025 Here's my exact process (and subsequent adjustments)..... During our year-end planning for the US team at Younium we decided to narrow our outbound targets to move a bit more upstream, where we'd find even more ROI for our prospects. Our friends at Loyee.ai took our existing database and helped us narrow our priority accounts, and also gave us insights into the target company tech stacks so that we could better relate our story to systems we integrate with. And now the process: Started with 200 target accounts in HubSpot that were tier 1 (best fit based on Loyee's algorithm and data scrape). I used Apollo to enrich the accounts with contacts that fit our best personas in finance and operations. Loading 3-5 per account, back into HubSpot with emails and cell numbers. Built a sequence in HubSpot based on mixing together some best practices from Troy Munson, Armand Farrokh, Nick Cegelski, and Brian LaManna. DM me for specifics if interested, but all credit to those mentioned here. This sequence is as omni-channel as it gets, using cold calls (sped up by Salesfinity), voicemail, intent signals, video messaging (through Sendspark), InMail, LinkedIn voice messaging where possible, and of course email. Today I even added a three bucket activity framework from a post by Anthony Natoli, to make sure I'm holding myself accountable to a high standard. I'm on my 3rd iteration of the above sequence, after adding a bit more outcome specific content, and tightening up messaging to be more word economical. I cannot stress the importance of that last point. Using less words to describe your potential outcomes and ROI or to quickly explain what you're calling about during your opener on a cold call makes all the difference. That, and making sure that your message actually resonates, which is the grand-daddy of them all and the primary focus of the last month. Happy to report that I'm getting closer on that front. Here's the tough reality. Even with all the calculated and educated moves included above, it is STILL a numbers game when calling into mid-market and enterprise. I'm up to 175 contacts loaded in (slowly building momentum now that my process is dialed in) and although I've got only 2 actual meetings booked from it, the clicks, responses, and "no thanks, we're good"s have been on the steady increase. The meetings will come. Now is when the real game is played, converting those signals of interest (or brush offs) into dialog OUTSIDE of email. The long game is where your sights must lie. Keep the calculated activity high and it will come. How's your outbound going? #outboundsales #saassales

    If I was stranded on a desert Island and can only take 5 tools with me to hit quota...I'd pick. 1) Clay Every SDR needs to learn the basics of Clay if they want to stay relevant in the job market. AI for targeted list building is the future of sales and Clay is the key. 2) Trellus (YC W22) Because cold calling is king and if you're not using a smart dialer that makes it easier to get pickups than you're doing it wrong. 3) Apollo.io I've tried a dozen sales engagement tools and still swear by Apollo's ease of use and quality of data. 4) Sendspark If your not utilizing video in your outreach its going to be very hard to stand out. 5) LinkedIn Sales Navigator Because that's where a lot of my ICP are most receptive. 🏝️ 😎
