United Way Fox Cities Emerging Leaders

United Way's LINC hosted 30+ young professionals for Intern Day at Catalpa Health! Workplaces in the Fox Cities attract some of the brightest interns around. Thank you to our presenters for sharing how we can all make our community and workplace cultures even better.

Meet Adam Hatlak, our Emerging Leaders Vice-Chair! Since 2020, Adam has helped the EL committee plan events and seek new ways for young professionals to build a stronger Fox Cities. He’s also been involved in his company’s United Way campaign at Miller Electric Mfg. LLC for the past few years. "I was motivated to get involved because United Way focuses on spreading the help across the community — making an impact with many other organizations. I've learned a lot about the needs in our community and the organizations we have that can help." We're excited to see Adam's leadership propel Emerging Leaders into the future.

Spring into Summer was a treasure trove of family fun! Nearly 500 people joined us on Saturday channel their inner pirate and enjoy the summer sun. As Emerging Leaders, we were proud to provide books and other resources for your families. Here's to a summer of learning and growing!

Thanks to a group of EL volunteers, over 3,000 books are ready for new homes at the upcoming Spring into Summer Family Festival! Make a splash with us on May 18 to explore summer resources and fun with your families. Friday was so bittersweet as Ryan Batley led his last meeting as Emerging Leaders Chair! Ryan's longstanding commitment to Emerging Leaders and United Way has helped nurture the next generation of philanthropists. As incoming Chair Vaya Jones wrote, "It’s quite difficult to put into words what his service has meant." Thank you, Ryan!

Last week, LINC (Lead. Impact. Network. Change.) joined hands with the incredible team at Catalpa Health! Catalpa is a United Way partner agency that provides mental health care for up to 9,000 children annually. LINC raised their hands to assemble hygiene kits for their clients, knowing we share a vision of a healthier community. 🧡
