Do you wonder how carbon yachts are made? And how the first ZEN50 hull production looks like? To satiate your curiosity, here is a 3 minute timelapse of the first 3 months of production. Every minute represents 1 month of careful and passionate craft by our Production Team. They have poured their heart into this yacht and we are happy to share this little snippet of carbon fibre yacht building craftsmanship with you! In this video, you will see the fabrication of the wave cutter and of the hull skin until the infusion is completed (you can see the resin flowing through the starboard side of the hull toiwards the end of video). The thin film covering the boat in the last third of the video is to maintain constant temperature while resin cures. The Superyacht Base WA company has announced that they have secured the contract for a new superyacht marina in Japan, named the Superyacht Base Kobe Marina. Construction on the marina will start in April 2025, with a full yacht service opening in 2026 and a full opening with surrounding infrastructure taking place in 2027.
