Carbon Capture and Storage is a ‘necessity not an option’ – UK Climate Change Committee Today we are launching a public consultation on potential routes for a CO2 transportation pipeline from our ExxonMobil Fawley complex to a storage location in the English Channel. With a capacity to transport millions of tons of CO2 annually – the equivalent to removing over five million cars from the road - this project could play a key role in lowering emissions across the economically-important South, and support the production of sustainable fuels for hard to decarbonise sectors. The consultation runs until 12 September, and we encourage everyone to share their views on the pipeline corridor options. Introducing the newest generation of 'Mini Medic' lifesavers 🧑⚕ ⛑️ 🏫 More than 1,500 Hampshire school children will now learn lifesaving skills through the programme secured by a £20,000 donation from ExxonMobil Fawley. ExxonMobil and New Forest First Aid Training, in collaboration with Hampshire County Council, have initiated a series of engaging and educational classroom sessions, aiming to deliver vital skills through captivating activities. ✅ As pupils continue to embark on their journey to become ‘Mini Medics’, topics will include an introduction to first aid, how to use a defibrillator, and the correct way to perform CPR.
