In honor of #PrideMonth, our Scoular offices have been filled with activities to celebrate and educate our teams. Throughout June in Minneapolis we've: · Indulged in delicious rainbow cookies from local shop #DorothyAnnBakery · Welcomed The Aliveness Project™ for a Pride Picnic (that was moved indoors due to the nonstop rain) to learn about their organization and made a donation to help their mission to feed, house, and provide medical and preventative care to the HIV/AIDs community. · Organized a service activity at Second Harvest Heartland to pack bulk food into smaller portions to be redistributed to organizations in need and help fight hunger. · Hosted an open panel discussion with members from our Employee Resource Groups, Scoular Proud Ally Network (SPAN) and Scoular Women Influencing Culture (SWIC), to discuss #Allyship and its importance to building an #InclusiveWorkplace. At Scoular, we believe inclusiveness is about all employees feeling a sense of belonging that encourages them to bring their uniqueness to the group. True inclusion means all employees feel comfortable being their full self at work and feel that their differences are not only accepted but also celebrated.
