Helping people trailblaze through the forest of mental illness and substance abuse. In both counseling and coaching I use self-assessment tools and provide self-care education. Sessions will involve talk-therapy and may include use of worksheets, journaling, charting, and art-based interventions. I also incorporate the healing power of humor, when appropriate. Corinne Simmons is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Georgia who has been practicing since 2010. She earned a Bachelor of Science at Tougaloo College and a Master of Public Policy and Administration at Mississippi State University, and a Master of Science in Counseling and Educational Leadership at Columbus State University. Corinne is very compassionate and nonjudgmental. She often uses humor to build rapport and to help illustrate ideas.
